FloralKimmi Fragrance

Whether or not one is a follower of Asian culture, it has been impossible to miss the Kimmidoll trend of recent years. Indeed, these little Japanese dolls have literally invaded shelves and appear both as a way of reconnecting with childhood and as a bold way of enhancing one's décor. Well, the brand did not stop there, and its range has now expanded to reach the perfumery shelf.
Kimmidoll dolls are small resin figurines standing 6 to 40 cm tall. They appeared in France in 2008 and are marketed by the company Kontiki. Easily recognizable, they always share the same distinctive features. They are dressed in a kimono, have almond-shaped eyes made up in Japanese style, and a colored headpiece symbolizing a straight haircut. However, the color and patterns adorning the Kimmidoll change according to their meaning. Indeed, Kimmidoll are not simple toys but carry a symbolic significance. Moreover, in Japan, they first appeared during the Edo era, in the ninth century. They were sold as souvenirs from the hot springs region in the northeastern part of the country and were given as tokens of love or friendship. They were also said to contain the spiritual essence of the ancestors and to protect their owner. Values and important life principles are thus associated with each type of doll. Some embody grace, others confidence, dignity, purity, kindness, femininity, or other characteristics still.
Nevertheless, faced with the success of the Kimmidoll, the brand decided to expand its product range. Kimmidoll became a genuine marketing concept, declined into multiple forms. They are thus available as keyrings, wallets, home linen, mugs, and more. These products are said to hold the same virtues as the original little dolls. And indeed, it is now also possible to wear a fragrance in the Kimmidoll spirit. Kimmi fragrances have taken over perfume counters, described as a range of playful and irresistible fragrances to choose according to one's mood and personality. Each one has its own particularity and a charming little name. Lily is a floral juice. Mimi is a sparkling fragrance. Niki, meanwhile, is more gourmand. What is more, one might also want to collect Holly, Millie, or Ella. There is something for every taste, every color, and every personality. Thus, giving a Kimmi fragrance is not merely giving a gift. Its meaning can go well beyond that and serve to convey a message.
