In 2016, the house Robertet once again drew a great deal of attention by winning the Prix de l'Audace Créative. Yet this house was founded in 1850. Suffice it to say that to earn such an award, it has done everything to reinvent itself over the years. Nevertheless, it is essential to remember that it would be nothing without renowned perfumers on its staff. Among them, Richard Ibanez has already signed a countless number of great creations.

Richard Ibanez and his greatest creations

Richard Ibanez is one of those perfumers who does not like to dwell on his personal life and professional path. He is a mysterious man who far prefers to be noticed for his creations than for anything else. Richard Ibanez signed his first major fragrance in 1986 for the house Divine. He also had several further opportunities to collaborate with this house, in 2005 and in 2006. In 1993, Richard Ibanez once again drew attention by creating two perfumes for Sonia Rykiel. He then distinguished himself with the creation of Pure Lavender by Azzaro, in 2001. This was followed by the creation of Ibiza Hippie and Into The Blue for Escada, in 2003 and 2006. From then on, Richard Ibanez's career truly seemed to be launched. Since that day, this great creator has continued to develop creative partnerships with all the biggest brands in the world. He has notably created the perfumes Marc O'Polo Women for the eponymous brand, Living Lalique and Reve d'Infini for Lalique, Marine for Jovoy Paris, Excellence for Jaguar, the Cabotine collection for Grès, and the perfumes Twin for Men and Chrome United for Azzaro.

If Richard Ibanez enjoys such renown, it is also because he works for one of the most prestigious houses of olfactory creation in the world: Robertet. With an uncommon longevity, this company now employs more than 2000 employees worldwide, half of whom are located in the Grasse region. It generates approximately 450 million in annual revenue and operates across some fifteen factories around the world. What is more, the history of Robertet does not seem ready to stop. Indeed, the house has already planned to invest 40 million euros to modernize and expand its Grasse sites. In addition, Robertet firmly intends to set up a new aroma extraction unit, to renovate a good number of its logistics equipment, and to strengthen its units of more than 1000 employees. Richard Ibanez should therefore not be short of projects in the coming years, and all that remains is to wait and see what this renowned creator has in store for the future.
