Maurice Sozio
If in the world of music certain hits alone are enough to forever cement the fame of some artists, the same holds true in perfumery. Thus, Maurice Sozio owes his fame to a single, universally known fragrance: Patchouli de Réminiscence. It was created in 1971 in association with perfumers Nino Amaddeo and Zoe Coste, the couple at the head of the house Réminiscence. It is an emblematic juice of an entire generation and an entire era. It was worn in overdose by the fervent devotees of the hippie style, and its scent alone is enough to transport us back in time. Maurice Sozio thus created much more than a fragrance. He bottled a historic trend that nostalgics are still very happy to claim as their own today.
