Marwa

Marwa, a men’s eau de parfum from Arabiyat Prestige, opens on bergamot, petitgrain and ginger. Black tea from China, incense and geranium, rosy and green, hold its middle; guaiac wood, Ambroxan and musk form the base. A faceted silver bottle presents it, and an Extrait de Parfum extends the line.

The house arranges its notes in three tiers: bergamot, petitgrain and ginger at the top; geranium, black tea and incense at the heart; guaiac wood, Ambroxan and musk at the base.

Bergamot, petitgrain and ginger

The house describes a fresh, zesty opening. Bergamot brings its citrus, petitgrain, an essence drawn from the leaves and young twigs of the bitter orange tree, a green and slightly bitter note, and ginger a sharp warmth.

Black tea, incense and geranium

Black tea from China holds the middle of the fragrance, and the house credits it with a taste for travel. It rests on an incense the house calls smoky and on geranium, whose rosy and green facets it highlights.

Guaiac wood, Ambroxan and musk

The base pairs Ambroxan, a synthetic molecule with an ambery effect, with guaiac wood, smoky with balsamic accents, on a bed of musk. The house describes this last phase as the most sensual of the fragrance.

Another list of notes

Another list often accompanies Marwa: bergamot, lemon and orange at the top, neroli, ginger and cinnamon in the middle, black tea, olibanum, Ambroxan and guaiac wood at the base. The house does not use it in its own description of the fragrance.
