SpicyXerjoff
Xerjoff was founded in Turin in 2007 by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo, after years of hand-cut bottles. The name contracts Xer, for Sergio, and Joff, the nickname his English colleagues gave him. In 2009 the house relaunched Casamorati, a Bolognese perfumer whose brand dates back to 1888.

SpicyA quartz bottle before a house
Sergio Momo’s first creation was a fragrance enclosed in a hand-carved and hand-polished quartz bottle. A client met in Moscow ordered several more, and the business took shape. The house was not formally founded until 2007, in Turin, with Dominique Salvo.
This gap explains the conflicting dates circulating about the brand: 2003 and 2004 refer to the artisanal period, while the founding of the company dates to 2007. The first standalone store opened at the Dubai Mall in 2010, and the Turin store in 2017.
The red crown of the Egyptian museum
The cap that signals the house from a distance comes from the Egyptian museum in Turin. Designed by Dominique Salvo, it takes up the deshret, the red crown of the pharaohs. Its elongated early shape has given way to a shorter version.
The rest of the presentation follows the same intention: an object crafted like the juice it contains, with materials chosen collection by collection. Join the Club and Oud Stars rank among the most followed sets.
Casamorati, a brand from 1888
In 2009, Sergio Momo revived Casamorati, whose perfume factory had been established in Bologna in 1888. The original bottle design is kept, tassels included, and the collection is treated as a brand in its own right rather than as a secondary line.
The whole leans toward pre-war Italian perfumery and Art Nouveau, a register the rest of the catalog does not cover. Sergio Momo has also run two other houses, Sospiro and Kemi, affiliated with the same Turin-based group.
