Alain Astori is a perfume creator who works today for the company IFF, better known under the name International Flavors and Fragrances. A company with international scope, it manufactures fragrances for the perfume industry, as well as flavors for the food industry. Today, International Flavors and Fragrances is the third largest company in its sector in terms of revenue, just behind Givaudan. Based in New York, it ranks among the largest players in the modern olfactory sector. Thus, working for International Flavors and Fragrances IFF means gaining access to an absolutely colossal pool of potential clients. This allowed Alain Astori to collaborate with the biggest houses.

Alain Astori's creations

Alain Astori is a perfumer who made his mark mainly in the late 90s and early 2000s. This period proved to be the most prolific of his career. It all began in 1984 with the creation of the fragrance Dunhill Edition for the house Alfred Dunhill. However, this creation was followed by a break of about 10 years. Starting in 1993, Alain Astori's activity resumed. He created the fragrance Horizon for Guy Laroche, in 1993. Likewise, he worked for the house Céline, in 1996, crafting the fragrance Magic. In 1999, he signed a double collaboration with Hugo Boss for Hugo Dark Blue and Giorgio Beverly Hills and the fragrance G. From then on, this boosted his reputation. Alain Astori went on to craft fragrances for Adidas, Benetton, Davidoff, Jil Sander, Lancôme, Ted Baker and Paul Smith.
