Hawas Boa

Ten materials make up Hawas Boa, with four top notes, four heart notes and two base notes, under an aromatic, fruity and woody classification. An opening of fresh fruit leads to a woody, resinous heart set on a warm base.

Top

Madagascar pomelo, the largest of the citrus fruits, opens the composition with a gentle bitterness. Prickly pear, the fruit of a cactus, and green apple add juicy, tart fruit, which orange blossom brightens with a floral touch.

Heart

Tonka bean brings an almond-like sweetness, driftwood a dry, slightly salty note, and olibanum a resinous smoke. An accord named flowerpool completes this heart; the house details neither its nature nor its components.

Base

Vanilla and vetiver close the composition, the first for its roundness, the second for its earthy dryness, which holds back the sweetness of the tonka and the vanilla.

What is left out

Pomelo, prickly pear and the flowerpool accord are listed as the house names them. A second list of notes, circulating since the release, adds sandalwood and Ambronova to the base; these two materials are not included here.
