Vulcan Vox is a 2026 release from French Avenue, a Fragrance World brand, extending its Vulcan line. Vulcan Vox falls among the gourmand fragrances, with spicy and fruity facets. Only three key notes are announced, with no breakdown between top, heart and base: a so-called powdery vanilla, almond and cherry.
The three key notes
Cherry carries the fruity facet. Perfumery reconstructs it as an accord, since no essence is extracted from the fruit, and readily relies on benzaldehyde, whose pit-like scent also recalls bitter almond.
Almond thus extends the cherry with a pit-like facet, round and slightly bitter. The vanilla, announced as powdery, brings a sweetness that is drier than creamy, the kind gourmand compositions usually place in the base.
What remains unknown
No spice is named for the spicy facet, and no complete pyramid has been released to date. The place of each of the three notes in the fragrance’s development therefore remains to be specified.
