Chinese Musk

Chinese Musk is a perfume by Areej Le Doré presented in 2026 at the Notes Shanghai exhibition, as part of the Ancient Tradition collection. Russian Adam signs the composition, announced around Chinese deer musk, Hainan oud, durian and wintersweet. The concentration, olfactory family, size and bottle remain to be announced.

The announced accord brings together Chinese deer musk, which gives the perfume its name, Hainan oud, durian, rose, honeysuckle and wintersweet, along with aged patchouli, fossilized amber and oakmoss. No breakdown into top, heart or base notes has been communicated.

Several names tie the raw materials to China, such as Hainan oud and Chinese deer musk. Others qualify them by age, with aged patchouli and fossilized amber; the house does not specify whether these are natural materials or reconstituted accords.
