In perfumery, the Grasses note is often reconstructed from natural materials such as violet leaf, galbanum or certain herbaceous extracts, combined with synthetic molecules with a green facet. The most emblematic compound of cut grass is cis-3-hexenol and its derivatives, widely used to recreate this fresh vegetal impression.
