CitrusThe creation of the first collection for children aged 2 to 10 caused a small revolution in the world of children's fashion. Over time, Tartine et Chocolat has diversified and created other items such as plush toys, childcare accessories, and perfumes for children.
Catherine Painvin was intent on creating garments that were high quality but above all comfortable. From the outset, she devised exclusive designs featuring the garda, an old-fashioned stripe brought back into fashion. The garda was applied across all the brand's products and success was swift. The first Tartine et Chocolat store opened in 1980 on Rue du Faubourg-St-Honoré in Paris… The tone was set. The brand quickly came to reflect Parisian chic. The company was subsequently acquired by the Zannier group, but the Tartine et Chocolat lines have retained the same elegance and refinement. The garda, offered in pale pink or sky blue, the hedgehog plush toys, and its perfume for children have made Tartine et Chocolat a major brand in its own right. Represented in 12 countries, Tartine et Chocolat is today a reflection of French refinement.
Launched in 1987, Ptitsenbon is a soft and light line designed so that babies too could have their own perfumes. The fragrance is fresh, pure, and very delicate. It is a blend of mint, citrus, and honeysuckle notes. The Ptitsenbon range comes in an alcohol-free eau de senteur from 4 months, and in a lightly alcoholic eau de toilette from 4 years. Given the success of this line, the brand decided to go even further by creating Gransenbon in 1995. A fresh and gourmand water designed particularly for little girls from 6 years old. A lovely sun-drenched cocktail made of mango and grapefruit notes, paired with a rose/jasmine floral bouquet… Enough to make girls dream. It should be noted that for the creation of these two perfume lines, Tartine et Chocolat collaborated with the Givenchy brand.
Founded in 1977, Tartine et Chocolat is a chic and comfortable clothing line for babies and children. Its first store was set up on Rue Faubourg-St-Honoré in Paris and success was not long in coming. All the garments feature the garda, which over time became Tartine et Chocolat's signature emblem. The brand soon envisioned other products such as plush toys, childcare accessories, and perfume. The first line, Ptitsenbon, quickly became number one. The brand then followed up with a second perfume line, Gransenbon… A very Parisian yet very chic brand.
