What is more, these are also accompanied by a subtle scent created by Roberto Cavalli perfumes. So, a closer look at this fairly recent brand in the history of contemporary perfumery.

The artistic soul of Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli was born in Florence in 1940, a city renowned as the historic capital of Italian art. This is doubtless what allowed him to develop an exceptional aesthetic sense from childhood. Very quickly, Roberto Cavalli decided to pursue creative studies and joined the Art Institute of Florence, where he chose to specialize in textile printing. Once he had his diploma in hand, he opened his own printing workshop in 1966. Moreover, Roberto Cavalli's main objective was to create unconventional outfits and offer nonconformist looks. He soon stood out for his singular approach to fashion. Likewise, his constant research allowed him to file numerous patents. The first was for leather printing in the 1970s. Furthermore, this innovative sensibility led Pierre Cardin as well as the house of Hermès to take notice of Roberto Cavalli. This is how Roberto Cavalli gradually made his way among the greats, building a renowned clientele that included stars such as Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot. Likewise, Roberto Cavalli was quickly recognized as the favorite designer of rock and hip-hop stars. Then, after a slight slowdown, Roberto Cavalli released a line of stretch jeans with a worn look that stars snapped up. Roberto Cavalli boutiques then quickly emerged across the globe.

The development of the Roberto Cavalli line

At the same time, starting in 1998, in order to further build its reputation, Roberto Cavalli understood that its line needed to be paired with numerous accessories. The house thus created watches, eyewear, underwear, swimwear and even perfumes. The latter fit perfectly into the continuity of Roberto Cavalli's creations, both rock and charismatic, endowed with an innate elegance and offering the vision of a sort of modern-day dandy. Over time, Roberto Cavalli has thus built a genuine luxury empire. Today it is far removed from the small textile workshop of its early days. Roberto Cavalli perfumes and clothing are now distributed in more than 50 countries and the house is present in the world's largest cities. Furthermore, some of these are simply monumental, such as the new Roberto Cavalli store in Paris, located on Rue Saint-Honoré. It has no fewer than seven floors spread over 1400 sq. m! Roberto Cavalli has a talent for thinking big, and it is clear this approach has served him well.
