Chantal Thomass draws an absolute and glamorous woman
Chantal Thomass, contrary to what one might think, only turned to precious lingerie about ten years after her debut in fashion. It was only after working in ready-to-wear during the 60s and creating her own brand in 1975 that Chantal Thomass lingerie arrived to upend the top of the podium and the orderly world of the time.
This delicate and sexy Chantal Thomass lingerie became a true fashion phenomenon that allowed chic underthings to reconquer the hearts of women who had abandoned them for more practical, more “working girl” underwear. Naturally, lace corsets, silky bustiers and delicate stockings later dressed the designer's perfumes...
In 2002, Chantal Thomass, having lived through many upheavals with her brand, wanted to give it new momentum, notably by creating her very first fragrance subtly named “Chantal Thomass.” This first perfume represents in every respect the powdery, silky and impertinent world of the designer, breathing floral-fruity notes as gourmand as they are sensual into a rosy bottle delicately wrapped in a black garter belt… The Chantal Thomass world was thus created in perfume as well...

As Chantal Thomass believes, it is women's allure that feeds inspiration, her perfume is an indispensable accessory to her penetrating sillage… Thus the famous designer's second perfume, released in 2004, “Ame Coquine,” will be imbued with the same contrasts as the previous one between flowers and fruits, the charms of gourmand innocence of blackcurrant and mandarin and the provocative sensuality of pink pepper, sandalwood and amber. Moreover “Et Plus si Affinités…” released the following year, will also play on its floral and animalic seductions to offer a third fragrance signed Chantal Thomass on its bottle as in its original and sexy composition...
Of course the bottles of these three lovely first Chantal Thomass fragrances play on the codes of the mischievous and charming designer, each bearing on their glass “slender leg” lace, garters and other charming accessories that entice the eye before seducing the nose...
However Chantal Thomass sought to innovate and stand out by offering in 2009 a perfume this time very different from the previous ones, “Osez-Moi.” The bottle of “Osez-moi” designed by Sylvie de France departs from the glass leg to offer elegant rosy curves in glass and bisque, still dressed all the same in a pretty black ribbon. As for the fragrance, it is this time oriental and vanilla, letting sweet and vanilla-laden, totally addictive gourmand notes seep through this essence.
