Aime

Aime is a French beauty brand launched in September 2018 by Mathilde Lacombe and François Morrier, who came from the beauty box company JolieBox. It combines dietary supplements and facial skincare under an inside and out beauty promise, and has since added skincare-infused makeup and a skin perfume by Maïa Lernout.

From beauty box to supplements

Mathilde Lacombe and François Morrier are among the founders of JolieBox, launched in 2011, which came under the Birchbox banner and has since become Blissim. Both left the venture in 2018 to start Aime, with 350,000 euros raised from business angels.

The origin is personal: affected by rosacea, the cofounder recounts years of prescriptions leading nowhere before consulting micronutritionist Valérie Espinasse, who told her about the microbiome. The brand’s first products were dietary supplements, before facial routines.

A wide range, a short distribution chain

The catalog brings together supplements, probiotic-based facial care, drinkable collagen, an omega-enriched dietary oil, skincare-infused makeup and accessories. Sales are direct on the brand’s website, with a monthly subscription for cures.

A Parisian store in the eleventh arrondissement complements online sales, and the products are also found at Sephora, where the Parfum de Peau is listed both as an eau de parfum and as an oil.

The skin perfume

The Parfum de Peau appeared in 2020 as an oil, before existing as an eau de parfum spray with an identical scent. Maïa Lernout composed it around almond, freesia, mock orange and white musks, over a base of sandalwood, cedar, vetiver and Ambroxan.

The founders launched a second brand on June 4, 2026, Ollie, dedicated to teen skincare: six products priced between 7.90 and 17.90 euros, including a scented mist for body and hair by Céline Perdriel, produced by Cosmo International Fragrances.
